Dear Colleagues,

The Cuban Society of Hypnotherapy, the Medical University of Santiago de Cuba, and the Hypnotherapy Group of Santiago de Cuba are holding the 4th International Workshop of Hypnotherapy and Related Practice, the First International Conference of Natural and Traditional Medicine and the First Virtual Meeting of Hypnotherapy. We are therefore pleased to announce HYPNOSANTIAGO 2005 which will take place between the 14th and 18th of March in the Centro de Convenciones Heredia, Santiago de Cuba, Cuba.

These events aim to promote the free exchange of experience between Cuban specialists and their neighbours in North, Central and South America, the Caribbean region, Europe and the rest of the world.

On this occasion we hope to continue to learn and share experiences in the application of Hypnosis and of bioenergetic therapies with particular emphasis on issues of a therapeutic, methodological, clinical, practical and experimental aspect. We hope to promote the discussion of experiences and the latest advances in the use of these techniques in the field of natural and traditional medicine and their application to resolving health problems.

SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM

The scientific program comprises conferences that will be given by speakers of national and international status. There will be round tables, workshops and the presentation of open topics given either verbally, in writing or by video.

There will be pre-conference courses available run by prestigious Cuban professors and others, using as teaching venues the institutions of the national health system.

In parallel the 1st Virtual meeting of Hypnotherapy will meet opening up possibilities of participating from a distance for those specialists interested in the themes under discussion and who were unable to attend our meeting.

• Must not exceed 250 words
• Title at the top in capitals
• Names and surnames of author/s specifying source.
• Name of institution and country of origin
• E mail address
